For Obscura Day (and candidly, many days before and after Obscura Day), I went to Iceland. My wife and I rented a car, got the maximum amount of insurance possible, and set off along the south coast. In this carousel, you’ll see a few highlights from our stops at Gljúfrabúi, Katla Ice Cave, Gígjagjá, Svartifoss, Diamond Beach, Vik, and Seljalandsfoss. Not pictured: our visit to the Icelandic Phallological Museum (highly recommend, but be sure to grab a glass of wine for the walkthrough).
