I spent the day exploring some of Providence’s literary landmarks, from the old-world charm of the Providence Athenaeum (where Poe once roamed!) to the halls of the John Hay Library and the delightfully strange shelves of Weird Providence. No rare manuscripts or ghost sightings this time, but I did pick up a great book and a renewed appreciation for this city’s curious, bookish soul.
